OEM performance shortcomings
The RX-series chassis reacts very favorably to simple sway bar bushing upgrades - this easy upgrade significantly improves handling and high speed stability, and along with our other chassis bushings, transforms your RX into the sure-footed SUV that it was designed to be. Bushing upgrades
Factory rubber bushings deteriorate over time, and degrade your RX' driving stability and performance - and even your safety. Daizen Sport Tuning steering rack, OEM sway bar and control arm bushing kits restore your suspension's solid, sure footed handling. Some of the more significant problems are as follows:
- 1999-2003 RX300 - Front lower control arm bushing failure - the OEM lower control arm bushings experience an abnormally high level of tension,
due to the McPherson strut design
- 1999-2003 RX300 - Steering rack bushing failure - OEM bushings disintegrate due to fluid contamination and environmental deterioration
Electrical issues with higher mileage
As with any vehicle, over time you will begin to lose conductivity with many of your RX's electrical connections and terminals.
Resistance increases, especially to the all-important ground pathways, and many of the components on a vehicle as complex as the RX begin to lose their smooth performance and reliability.
